crazy stupid love

I’m sorry that I haven’t been updating as much as I used to. but like i said before, he has a tendency to turn my life upside down once he comes back into my life.

he’s got me overthinking

overthinking myself into sadness and back into happiness

I think I adore him

he’s got me writing songs and smiling all the time.

damn him.

i’ll keep you updated

because something will happen soon.

Have you seen this movie?

first of all, Serendipity is one of my favourite words. Its definition is,

The occurrence and development of events by chance in a happy or beneficial way.

the movie revolves around a man and a woman who meet by chance and are attracted to each other, but they’re currently in relationships with other people. Even though they’re attracted to each other they decide not to exchange names or information and leave it up to fate to reunite them, if it’s whats meant to be.  I don’t know what it is about these movies, but I’m obsessed with stories about people who meet each other and are attracted to each other but cannot be with each other because of life or because they are involved with other people. Like in You’ve Got Mail  (which is another one of my favourites) maybe this is why I’m so messed up, and my views on romance, love, and fate are out of whack, but this movie especially (Serendipity) Each time I watch it, it’s like I’m torturing myself, but I like it.

Theres also a theory that people who are meant to be in each others lives are connected by an invisible string. People who are meant to be in each others lives with gravitate towards them no matter how far they wander and sometimes the universe gives you signs, you just need to be willing to read them (Like in the movie, Fools Rush In) I’m a believer in this and sometimes I realise how insane it sounds that the universe conspires in your favor. But maybe it’s this kind of magic that makes the world go round.

Anyway, I’d love to hear your thoughts on this and any other movie recommendations you would have. If you don’t this about me by now, I LOVE MOVIES. I try to watch at least a movie a day.

My dinner party

This is possibly one of my favorite things to talk about. It’s also one of my favorite ice breakers. So, when you meet someone and you think they’re interesting and you’d like to know them more and have a good laugh, I always ask them who they would invite to their dinner party. They have to chose 15max celebrities dead or alive apart from the list of guests, they need to include the dinner menu as well as seating arrangements.

Through the years, I’ve had some good laughs and gotten to know people very well based on their answers.

I’m also very curious about who you would invite to your dinner parties, so if you can please think this through and comment your answers below. I’ll include my list, menu, and arrangements as well.

My Dinner Party

  1. Michael Jackson
  2. Walt Disney
  3. Lana Del Rey
  4. Nikola Tesla
  5. Shakira
  6. Adele
  7. Maluma
  8. J Balvin

Appetizers: French Onion Soup or a Cheese and Fruit Platter

Main Course: Linguine Alfredo with Grilled chicken or Roast beef Sandwiches

Dessert: Chocolate Fondue with fruits and treats or New York Cheesecake

I don’t have seating arrangements but my table is round

Tom Robbins

Greetings y’all

Today I was asked about one of my favourite writers. I’ve posted about my favourite novels and one of my favourite writers were on there. His name is Tom Robbins. If you’re familiar with the movie 50 First Dates you might remember Lucy was reading a book called Still Life with Woodpecker. This was his third novel, in total,  I believe he’s written 8 novels in total.

I love reading, but I find that most writers bore me or their content is not exactly original or creative or interesting. But Tom Robbins has a way of using languages to convey a wonderful imagination. His use of language is fantastic and if you want to go on a literary adventure, I highly recommend his books.

~My personal favourite is Jitterbug Perfume

Enjoy it lovelies

feel free to recommend some of your favourite books & writers

xx ML
